I'll start with the best news. We had a baptism today! Bety was baptized during our celebration time this morning. Hers is a sweet story of the Lord's movement in her life. He has been working on her heart for many years now, but a few months back (I can't remember exactly when), she and Morelia met because they live in the same subdivision. Morelia invited her to church and also to a study Sandy and I were doing with the ladies based on the book 'Captivating' by John and Stasi Eldridge. Bety began to attend those classes, where she met Larisa, who invited her to the cell group that meets close to where she lives. This story is especially sweet to all of us because Larisa was the one to study with her. If we'd asked Larisa to do that a year or two ago, she probably would have told us she wasn't ready and couldn't do it, but the Lord has grown her so much this past year! She was actually the one who approached Bety about baptism and studied with her and encouraged her to take this step of faith. We are so thankful to have Larisa with us as a servant leader and also to have Bety as a part of our family! Praise the Lord!
Larisa and Bety
To celebrate Bety's new birth, we had a meal together afterwards at the new office. The kids have had their class at the office for the past two weeks, but this was our first all church event there and it worked out wonderfully! There was plenty of room for everyone and we even enjoyed some games, led by Aldo. Times of fellowship as a family are always so wonderful.

Lastly, I wanted to show you how the front office turned out after it was painted and we put the furniture in. There is still quite a list of things that we want to do, but it's coming along very nicely. What do you think?
