Church Retreat '07

Okay, I was going to write this nice, long update about the retreat, but Ann beat me to it, so check out her website to read about it. I'd already uploaded pictures, though, so you can check those out.

Retreat

Hey, all! This is just a quick note reminding you to be praying for our church retreat this weekend. It starts tomorrow (Sept. 7th) at 7 p.m. and we'll wrap up on Sunday, the 9th, around noon. We currently have between 65-70 people signed up. Here are some specific prayer requests:

• Please pray for all of the people who are signed up as they prepare for the weekend. Pray that the Lord speaks to them in an amazing way and that we can truly experience family together.
• Pray for Steven Wells, our speaker, as he prepares to speak to us about how we are works of art made by God. Pray that the Lord will speak through him and into the hearts of all who are there.
• Pray for the weather!! We are in the middle of rainy season (not the best time for a retreat, I know, but it had to be this weekend). Pray for NO RAIN and lots of warm sun.
• Pray that every single one of us will walk away from the retreat refreshed and renewed to continue the great work the Lord is doing here in Morelia.

Thanks so much for the thoughts and prayers on our behalf. I'll be taking my camera and promise to get some good pictures of everything and post them early next week. I'm really looking forward to the weekend and can't wait to tell you all about how the Lord moved among us!
